Welcome to this 100% online, open and free course. 

The main aim of this course is to convey the positioning of Rioja in the domestic and international markets, as well as establishing the foundations of wine marketing.

The Rioja Wines Diploma for Trade and Distribution is specially conceived for those who, as well as an in-depth knowledge of Rioja Wines, need to understand the main principles of wine marketing.

Through this online training platform we will provide you with the knowledge you need and accompany you in theory and practice since, at the end of each module, we will propose several wines that will illustrate the course contents and bring you even closer to our unique way of understanding viticulture and oenology.

Estimated duration: 18 hrs.

Assessment: At the end of each module there will be a set of review questions relating to the content. To progress to the next modules, you will need to answer 100% of the questions correctly and you will have a limited number of attempts.

At the end of the course you will take the final exam. This will consist of 30 questions, which you will have to answer within a time limit of 30 minutes. To obtain the diploma, you will have to answer at least 75% of the questions correctly. 

You have a maximum of 2 attempts to pass your exam, but if you fail, RWA will launch a new call every three months - with two other opportunities - of which you will be informed in advance so that you can take the exam again and obtain the certificate.

    Fantastic course! Greatly enjoyed it and it is very informative. Note for the people doing it. The exam is hard. They ask a lot of specific information. When you think you are ready add another couple of hours to your study time. Flash cards help a lot. Thanks Rioja Academy. Loved the course!
